LIACOM researcher Rui Gonçalves is co-author of a new scientific article published in the international journal Annals of Financial Economics, titled “Toward Financial Autonomy: Why Consumers are Embracing Digital Investment Platforms.”

The article, co-authored with Lucia Saldanha, Leandro Pereira, and Renato Lopes da Costa, investigates the factors influencing the use of digital investment brokers, in a context where an increasing number of consumers are taking responsibility for managing their own finances.
