LIACOM researcher Patricia Bandeira de Melo, in co-authorship with Neide Queiroz de Andrade (Federal University of Pernambuco), has published the article “Critérios de noticiabilidade, fontes e discursos: Como as notícias sobre drogas são no contexto brasileiro?” in the scientific journal Estudos em Comunicação.

The research is based on the analysis of a corpus of 100 news articles published in the newspapers Diario de Pernambuco, JC Online, and Folha de Pernambuco.
