LIACOM researchers publish article on advertising, design, and visual communication in an international journal

LIACOM researchers Helena Figueiredo PinaCláudia Silvestre and Susana Araújo Araújo are the authors of a new scientific article published in the journal Hipertext.net, titled “Advertising, design, and visual communication guided by lightness. Where narrative, aesthetics, emotion, and media deceleration converge”.

The article analyses contemporary visual communication, with a particular focus on advertising, graphic design, and information design, proposing an integrated understanding of visual communication as a space of symbolic experimentation capable of fostering new sensibilities and more reflective forms of audience engagement.
