On October 19th, at 6:30 PM, the Baldaya Palace will host the launch of the book Influencing Across Cultures – The Role of Digital Influencers in Multicultural Communication, a work integrated into the Caminhos do Conhecimento Collection of the Polytechnic University of Lisbon (UPL).
Coordinated by LIACOM researchers Sandra Miranda, Ana Teresa Machado, Zélia Raposo Santos e Sandra Pereira, along with Sydney Chinchanachockchai, the book brings together contributions from researchers from different countries and disciplinary areas, proposing a reflection on the role of digital influencers, both human and virtual, in multicultural communication.
The book addresses the new dynamics of influence and communication in a context marked by increasing digitalization and cultural diversity, exploring how digital influencers participate in the construction of relationships and discourses between different cultures.
The book will be presented by Patrícia Dias, from the Catholic University of Portugal, in an event intended to promote sharing and reflection on digital influence, communication, and cultural diversity.
The launch will take place at the Baldaya Palace on October 19th at 6:30 PM.
