LIACOM researcher Júlia Leitão de Barros has published the article “The People as a Political Subject” in the Análise Social journal.

In this work, the LIACOM researcher explores the role of radical republicanism in the consolidation of the liberal-democratic current at the turn of the 19th to the 20th century, highlighting how innovative, more inclusive and participatory forms of political communication contributed to shaping the people as a political subject.
