LIACOM researcher Hadassa Oliveira is participating in the conference “Gender and Media: Evidence and Trends, 30 Years Later,” promoted by the ERC – Regulatory Authority for the Media and the Portuguese team of the Global Media Monitoring Project (GMMP).
The panel in which the LIACOM researcher will take part aims to present and discuss the national results of the most recent GMMP monitoring (2025), an international initiative that has been analyzing gender representation in news media.
The conference takes place on February 25, 2026, in Auditorium B1 of the NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities (NOVA FCSH), with the support of the School itself and the Gender and Sexualities Working Group of the Portuguese Association of Communication Sciences (SOPCOM).
