LIACOM researcher Hadassa Oliveira is co-author of the book chapter “From Information to Participation: Social Media Engagement Strategies in 2026 Portuguese Presidential Race”, which analyses the role of social media engagement strategies during the 2026 Portuguese presidential race. The chapter is part of the collective volume Classical Legacy and Contemporary Challenges: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Education, Communication, and Law, recently published by Grupo Compás.
The chapter was developed in collaboration with Alexandre Duarte and Alexandra Leandro and presents an analysis of the digital strategies used by presidential candidates to promote public engagement on social media platforms.
