On May 29, 2025, LIACOM researcher Diana Correia Cardoso will participate in the 19th International Conference for Literary Journalism Studies (IALJS-19), which will take place at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.

The researcher will present the research paper entitled: “The Heritage of Oral Storytelling: Narrative as the Pillar of Literary Reportage”, resulting from her Master’s dissertation in Journalism defended at the School of Communication and Media Studies (ESCS-IPL), under the supervision of LIACOM researchers Filipa Subtil and Júlia Leitão de Barros.

This year’s edition of the IALJS Conference is dedicated to the theme “Literary Journalism and the Tides of History”.
