The recent graduates in Public Relations and Organizational Communication from the School of Communication and Media Studies (ESCS), Iara Graça and Sara Santos, took part in the Sinergie-SIMA Management Conference 2025, held in Genoa. The event was organized by the Società Italiana di Management and featured prominent figures in the field of Public Relations, such as Professor Emanuele Invernizzi (IULM University).

Continuing a nearly two-decade-long collaboration between ESCS and the Italian School of Public Relations — which includes notable names like Toni Muzi Falconi and Emanuele Invernizzi — the young graduates presented the paper “Municipalities Facebook Pages Sustainability Challenges.” The article was developed within the framework of the project META: Digital Platforms and the Public Communication of Municipalities, and co-authored with Mafalda Eiró-Gomes, ESCS professor and LIACOM researcher.

The paper received an Honourable Mention and will be published in the conference proceedings.
