Within the scope of the research project “DOC-EDU: Perspectives on the initiation to reading and writing. From the production to the communication of an audiovisual educational resource”, developed under LIACOM and the School of Communication and Media Studies, in partnership with the Lisbon School of Education and funded by the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon (IDI&CA IPL), the documentary A Leitora — one of the outputs of this project — will be screened. The screening will take place on November 6th, at 5 p.m., in the Auditório Carlos Paredes, in Lisbon.
The session will include a conversation with Regina Duarte, Fernanda Bonacho, and Joana Souza about the formation of readers and the teaching and learning of reading and writing, also highlighting the potential of the documentary as a means of communicating knowledge and preserving memories within higher education.
