LIACOM and the School of Communication and Media Studies (ESCS-IPL) are proud partners of the 8th edition of MEISTUDIES – International Conference on Media Ecology and Image Studies, which will take place from November 10 to 13, 2025, in a fully virtual format.

The theme of this year’s edition, “Media (De)acceleration”, invites reflection on the processes of acceleration and deceleration within today’s media ecosystem – a world marked by the intense rhythms of image and information production, consumption, and circulation.

The conference features multiple forms of participation, including plenary sessions, synchronous debate panels, and thematic working sessions addressing the main topics under discussion.
