LIACOM researchers Denis Renó, Fátima Lopes Cardoso, Fernanda Bonacho, Jorge Trindade and Júlia Leitão de Barros participated in the 7th MEISTUDIES Congress, with some of the researchers joining the event’s Scientific Committee and ensuring the coordination of thematic tables.

The 7th International Congress Media Ecology and Image Studies – Democracy and Media Education (MEISTUDIES), took place between the 4th and 7th of November 2024 and had representatives from 9 countries, present in the event’s 15 videoconferences and 13 working tables. The expanded abstracts submitted to the event were published in the conference’s ISSN memoirs, and the 18 best complete texts will be selected to compose the June 2025 edition of the magazine Razón y Palabra, indexed in Qualis A2. The remaining texts will be published in e-books by Ria Editorial (Portugal), until December 22, 2024.
