LIACOM is an institutional partner of the 9th Iberian Seminar on Youth Research, which will take place on April 24-25, 2026, in Badajoz.

Organized by the Consejo de la Juventud de Extremadura, the event stands out as a key platform for bringing together researchers, students, and young professionals, fostering scientific exchange and strengthening Iberian research networks.

In its ninth edition, under the theme “Viral Z Culture,” the seminar proposes a critical reflection on contemporary phenomena such as digital communication, disinformation, hate speech, and online activism, highlighting the role of Generation Z in shaping public opinion and today’s media ecosystems.

LIACOM’s participation as a partner reinforces its commitment to the internationalization of communication research and to the development of collaborative scientific projects. This partnership also contributes to building stronger connections between academia, research centers, and civil society organizations in the field of youth studies.

The event features a diverse scientific program, including keynote lectures, paper sessions, and networking opportunities, aimed at sharing scientific advancements and promoting new collaborations within the Iberian context.

The call for papers is open until April 18.
