Filipa Subtil, an integrated researcher at LIACOM, will participate in the Jornadas de Reflexión sobre Práctica Sociológica. Legado y Actualidad de la Escuela de Chicago, which will take place from April 27 to 30, 2026, at the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology of the Complutense University of Madrid.

As part of this international scientific meeting, the researcher will present a paper co-authored with José Luís Garcia (ICS-ULisboa), entitled “Más allá del Estado-nación: una relectura de The Immigrant Press and Its Control de Robert E. Park”.
