LIACOM researcher Hadassa Oliveira presented the paper “Violence against female politicians and anti-feminism: an analysis of André Ventura’s profile on Tik Tok“, co-authored with Jéssica Ribeiro and Juliana Alcantara, at the Media, Politics and Democracy Congress, organized by the Autonomous University of Lisbon, on February 28, 2025.

The aim of the study focuses on understanding how the main figure and leader of the Chega party in Portugal, André Ventura, frames women and feminism in the content published on his TikTok profile.
