Pedro Marques Gomes, LIACOM researcher, is one of the curators of the exhibition “The Salt of Democracy. Mário Soares and Culture”, on display at Casa de Serralves, in Porto.

Opened on December 5, 2024, the exhibition reveals Mário Soares’ relationship with culture and those who create it, through a selection of works from his art collections (painting, drawing, sculpture, tapestry, and engraving) and bibliophilia (rare books, first editions, and manuscripts).
