At the invitation of the Gulf University for Science and Technology, LIACOM researcher Maria José Dos-Santos, presented a paper at the Global Citizenship Conference 2024, in Kuwait, in which the effect of climate change on gender inequality was discussed.

Under the topic “Gender inequalities, barriers to women’s inclusion at the workplace, women’s empowerment and climate change”, Maria José Dos-Santos discussed the current situation on the European continent, highlighting the importance of understanding the impact of climate change on gender issues and the need for collective action to face this global challenge.
