Hadassa Guimarães Oliveira presented the communication “My ID is Gangnam Beauty: Problematizing South Korean and Luso-Brazilian Beauty Culture”, co-authored with Professor Dr. Hazel T. Biana, from De La Salle University, Philippines, at the Asian TV Dramas Congress 2024. The LIACOM researcher was the only representative from Portugal at the 2024 event.

The communication also resulted in an article, submitted to Transnational Screens journal.
