The seminar will focus on the theme \u201cInnovating to Achieve Financial Sustainability in Journalism: Preliminary Results on the Case of Independent Digital News Media\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session will present preliminary findings from a research project examining the innovation strategies adopted by independent digital journalism outlets in Portugal, with the aim of understanding how they seek to ensure their financial sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The research will be presented by Patr\u00edcia Caneira, a PhD candidate in Communication Sciences, specialising in Media and Journalism Studies, at NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities (NOVA FCSH).
