During the meeting, <strong>LIACOM<\/strong>\u2019s scientific strategy for the coming years was shared, along with ongoing projects and the definition of priorities for the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event also featured the participation of science manager <a href=\"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-4804-2950\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carolina Varela<\/a>, who gave a presentation focused on European competitive funding programs, highlighting opportunities available to the center and its researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the afternoon, collaborative activities were promoted to strengthen internal cohesion and identify synergies among the different research lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This first meeting represents an important step in consolidating <strong>LIACOM<\/strong> as a center for applied, collaborative, and interdisciplinary research, and in building future strategies collectively, while fostering new scientific collaborations with academic and societal impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Photography: Lu\u00eds Barros Cardoso (Communications Office &#8211; ESCS-IPL)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On July 2, LIACOM held its first researchers\u2019 meeting, which took place at the Beato Innovation District in Lisbon.
