Several LIACOM <\/strong>researchers participated with communications, as speakers or as moderators of thematic tables in the 2nd International Colloquium Lusophony in Debate: The media in Lusophony, from Cam\u00f5es to Artificial Intelligence<\/a>, organized by the research group Chrome Photo\/GENEM – Study Group on the New Ecology of the Media of the S\u00e3o Paulo State University – UNESP (Brazil), together with ESCS-IPL<\/a> (Portugal) and LIACOM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Researchers Jorge Ver\u00edssimo<\/a> and Xabier Mart\u00ednez-Rol\u00e1n<\/a> were the speakers, respectively, at the conference \u201cAdvertising, the media and the market: Portuguese realities\u201d and \u201cThe academy and the opportunities and ethical challenges regarding generative artificial intelligence\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In turn, researchers Denis Ren\u00f3<\/a> and F\u00e1tima Lopes Cardoso<\/a> were moderators of the thematic panel \u201cImage and Photography\u201d, Jorge Trindade was one of the moderators of the thematic panel \u201cAnalysis and production of communicational discourses\u201d, Jorge Ver\u00edssimo<\/a> and Xabier Mart\u00ednez-Rol\u00e1n<\/a> moderated the thematic panel \u201cAdvertising and Market\u201d, J\u00falia Leit\u00e3o de Barros<\/a> co-moderated the thematic panel \u201cHistory of Communication\u201d, and Sandra Miranda<\/a> was one of the moderators of the thematic panel \u201cDisinformation and polarizations in the media\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, researchers Denis Ren\u00f3<\/a>, Hadassa Oliveira<\/a>, Patr\u00edcia Bandeira de Melo<\/a> and Xabier Mart\u00ednez-Rol\u00e1n<\/a> presented communications at the event’s thematic tables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The congress took place between the 20th and 22nd of May, in an online format, and aimed to explore the evolution and role of the media in the Portuguese-speaking world, from the era of Lu\u00eds de Cam\u00f5es to the contemporary challenges imposed by artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
