{"id":2027,"date":"2025-04-24T17:00:20","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T17:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/liacom.escs.ipl.pt\/?p=2027"},"modified":"2025-04-29T14:14:14","modified_gmt":"2025-04-29T14:14:14","slug":"projeto-shift-do-liacom-promove-seminario-sobre-turismo-sustentavel-na-btl-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/liacom.escs.ipl.pt\/en\/publicacoes\/projeto-shift-do-liacom-promove-seminario-sobre-turismo-sustentavel-na-btl-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"LIACOM&#8217;s SHIFT project promotes seminar on sustainable tourism at BTL 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/liacom.escs.ipl.pt\/en\/investigacao\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> SHIFT project \u2013 Sustainability-oriented, Highly interactive and Innovation-based Framework for Tourism Marketing<\/a> \u2013 was present at the 2025 <a href=\"https:\/\/business.turismodeportugal.pt\/pt\/Agenda\/Eventos\/Paginas\/btl.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lisbon Travel Market (BTL)<\/a>, the largest tourism fair in Portugal, with the organization of the seminar SHIFT 360\u00ba \u2013 Collaborative Strategies for Sustainable Tourism, held on March 14, 2025, at the BETTER Stage \u2013 Main Auditorium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coordinated by <strong>LIACOM <\/strong>researcher <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escs.ipl.pt\/en\/docentes\/joao-ferreira-do-rosario\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jo\u00e3o Ros\u00e1rio<\/a> and funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (reference PTDC\/EGE-OGE\/2146\/2021), the SHIFT project has been developing new approaches to tourism marketing, focusing on sustainability, innovation, and collaboration among the sector&#8217;s various stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seminar aimed to present the project&#8217;s main results achieved so far, highlighting the identification of critical factors influencing sustainable tourism, the construction of strategic scenarios, the formulation and validation of a theoretical framework for collaborative tourism marketing \u2013 applied to the Lisbon region \u2013 and the development of a functional prototype of a digital platform to support the collaborative management and promotion of tourism destinations.
