Journalism, Communication and the Self\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>LIACOM <\/strong>researcher <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escs.ipl.pt\/en\/docentes\/fernanda-bonacho\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fernanda Bonacho<\/a> organized the book \u201cWorld Reading Academy &#8211; Journalism, Communication and the Self\u201d, which brings together the results of the project \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.escs.ipl.pt\/en\/research\/research-projects\/line-1\/world-reading-academy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">World Reading Academy &#8211; Journalism, Communication and the Self<\/a>\u201d, whose team proposed following an experimental methodology and testing an intervention in the school community that invited young students to make a critical reading of the world through journalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The book launch will be next Friday, <strong>April 4th<\/strong>, at <strong>3 pm<\/strong>, at the <strong>V\u00edtor Macieira Auditorium<\/strong>, at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escs.ipl.pt\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ESCS-IPL<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The research project that gave rise to the book took place between 2019 and 2022 and was funded by the Gulbenkian Knowledge Academy Program of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PROGRAM<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Welcome Session<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President of the Polytechnic of Lisbon, Ant\u00f3nio Belo<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President of School of Communication and Media Studies, Andr\u00e9 Sendin<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Presentation World Reading Academy &#8211;
