Essay on the Seduction Society\u201d (2017), \u201cThe Rite of Authenticity\u201d (2021), and \u201cThe New Age of Kitsch\u201d (2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The awarding of the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by several international universities, including a Portuguese one, and the awarding of the highest distinction of the French Republic, the medal of Chevalier of the Legion of Honor, reveal the recognition of Lipovetsky\u2019s work and thought by academia and society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gilles Lipovetsky, a French philosopher, is one of the European thinkers who has most influenced the analysis of today\u2019s society.
